Oily Skin

Over productive sebaceous glands are responsible for oily skin. The good news is this skin type is generally slower to show fine lines, wrinkles and discoloration. The downside can be more frequent breakouts, large pores and a greasy appearance.

I suggest a cleanser that will help to reduce some of the oil production and clean out your pores.
I like to use Mary Kay 3 in 1 cleanser for oily skin because it Cleanse, Tones, and Scrubs, leaving my skin not too dry but rather smooth to touch. www.marykay.com/glamlane $18.00

Using a clay mask 2 to 3 times a week may also help with sebum production.
Dr. Brandt Poreless Purifying Mask $40.00 Absorbs oil, draws out impurities and tightens enlarged pores to clear blackheads and breakouts.

There is also a myth that people with oily skin do not need to use a moisturizer. This is not the case. Everyone needs moisture, you just have to make sure you choose the correct kind. A mattifying lotion with SPF is great for oily skin. Any product line that will not clog your pores is exactly what a person with oily skin needs.
